Q:

Wow

Guess I hid under my Rock too long, tried to hit the TOG only to see it has shut its doors 😯

Hit the yellow forum and fond the link to here 😀

good to see so many familiar “faces” here carrying on

Got sidetracked with life and other hobbies there for awhile, hope to be hitting the new site on a regular basis

Got a new version of my stock in the works (finally picked up a mini-mill)

Just thought I’d say “HI”

thanks Yellow, its good to be back

WB Dog !!

Nice work on those RC Helo Parts.

That is actually the first version, a real PIA to make, uses 6 separate pieces that have to be drilled and tapped then screwed together and at the time it was all done by hand, hard to do accurately.

I plan on making the frame base from a solid piece of aluminum, probably won’t be much fasted, but will be more precise and stronger.

Also was never happy with the mechanism on the butt stock that allow bottle removal, I have a copy of SolidWorks and plan on designing a new mechanism.

the plan is to eventually CNC the mill 😀

It’s good to see a so many of the old regulars are here 8)

Hey Dogwood! glad to see you found the forum and your doing good. That stock is impressive, and looks like you’ve added some more style to your gun with the mini-mill 8)

Do you have someone else anodize your stuff or do you do it?

Jim, I plan on doing it my self, cost stupid money to have it done professionally, well on small runs, which i’d do anyway.

Dogwood! Welcome back… Got several of the older members finding their way here now. Good to see you.

Killer looking stock there!

Hey,
I remember that stock.
Welcome back Dogwood.

DogWood your setup is killer 😀

NIce nice rig with the but supprted from the reciver instead of the tank…just takes one more stress point out of the equation…

pretty cool Dog.

here’s a couple of picts of the stock in its original form, unpainted.
I’ve since painted it with Norrell Flat black.

For the next version I plan on Anodizing, working on a setup now. 😀

the original idea was to stiffen the frame and take pressure off of the bottle, thus reducing flex and improving accuracy.

Howdy from Texas! And Pictures please!!!

Mike

Welcome….

Pictures please 😛
