Q:

Winchester 1000x mistake?

Went to the range last week and when I walking out I saw a
Winchester 1000X on disply for $90.00 Couldn’t resist the deal so I bought it. Gun is very accurate for a springer and it feels solid. The only thing I hate is the trigger. At 9 lbs of pull this thing is awfull. Here is my delema: should I try to fix the trigger or take a loss and buy nice springer with 2-3 lbs of pull for my collection. I come from 10 meter competition shooting crowd where the trigger has very little pull. I have Morini pistol and Walther rifle. I own a Talon SS which I like a lot but I still think the trigger could improve.

Any suggestions?

I love that Blue Bird…
It looks so avant-garde 8)

Also look into the Beeman R9 or for cheaper an RWS 34. The two listed by Wasenshi are top notch, I have a HW97 and a R9, and the R9 is a lighter and better hunting gun based on it’s weight.

My HW97. A real tack driver.

My R9.

AA TX200HC or HW97

Any info on the mods for the trigger? what would be a nice springer with a great trigger?

I think they have modes for the trigger, but I would just sale it and get a nice springer.
