Q:

Who makes them

I’ve seen several pics around of rifles with scope mounts that are a one piece base unit with scope rings mounted to them. And whoever makes them, are they available in high or extra high mounts to get the scope up high enough to not have to lay your head sideways on the air tank to see through the scope?

May have to opt for a high set and the airforce tri-rail base if nothing else, just would feel more comfortable without having things stacked on top of things.

Hi Triggerman, B-square makes those one piece ultra high mounts suitable for AF rifles (see link) but they are not cheap because they are adjustable for both elevation and windage. You won’t get the added rigidity of the tri-rail but you won’t be adding its weight either (which is noticeable).

I have a tri rail and I wish I would have bought it sooner. It provides a rigidity to the gun that is needed due to the thin scope rail and it allows you to mount a flash lite on the side. Also it makes shooting the gun more comfortable to shoot. I have accushot high mounts and a tri rail on my gun and love it.

The mounts are cheap and the tri rail is $30
