What the hell ??

Has any one ever had the stem that the top hat screws on come out of the tank?? popped out the other day put it back in but what the hell they ain’t supposed to do that or are they?? 😮 😮 😯

Oh OK mine is set up like that, too.

It has to be custom fitted to the valve and tested to the point of maximum performance. After that it becomes non-adjustable. That’s what Tony did with my rig.

How do you adjust a TimW valvestem? I didn’t know that they are adjustable.

I had that problem before also. That’s why I went with one piece valve stem from Tim of CustomBrakz. Once it is set to its max performance, it’s all set. No adjustments whatsoever, so that is the thing to consider also if you choose to go that route. I like my setup. But I guess once you find that max perfomance, you can apply some locktite to grub screws, a lot of folks do that. Oh, don’t overtighten them because you will dent the stem from the inside.

Thanks King thought I really fucked her up for sure. After all that work Tony put in to her, I try not to change any thing. Not very handy Just like hunting. 😀

It happens. Some guys have differant size stems and pull them out and put them back all the time.

Just jam it back in until it is seated into the valve seat and then your set.
