verminator issue ?
just been reading on the airgunbbs about an issue when unscrewing the verminator bottle,
“4 out of a batch of 50” have had the guns valve unscrew instead of just the bottle,resulting in the bottle disapearing over the other side of the room ect,
obviously this is pretty dangerous 🙄
so keep your eyes open and don’t screw the bottle on too tight,
has this happened to any other of the fx take down rifles ?

it doesn’t take many turns to start bleeding the bottle on my vermy
so if nothing happens withing the first few turns .. il get worried 🙄
i can’t belive theres no “stopper” or something to prevent it happening
and if its gunna happen .. it’l happen to me 😕 🙄

A woman got killed at a paintball field when that happened with a CO2 tank when unscrewed from a marker. I dont need to tell anyone here that a HPA tank has the potential to do a heck of a lot more damage than even a full co2 tank.
That happened on my FX Dominator. Fortunately, I had an extended air tube on it and when I went to unscrew the whole air tube it actually unscrewed at the airtube extension joint. Wasn’t really paying attention until the o ring popped loudly and all the air bled out. What a bitch getting the rest of the tube off of the gun as I had no where to grip it from. I had to make a compression type tool to stick in the tube and turn it.

in the talon tanks…i only tighten the valvebody by hand….as long as there is pressure in it it should stay in place…how ever once i did manage to unscre the body just enough that it starting to hiss….thats a sight to stop what you are doing and wait it out
the smaller thread the more likely this is to happen.
had a homemade experimantal valve blow the delrin out…what a bang…and that bottle took off like it was a projectile out of a rifle…not a slow acelerating rocket….just boom and then it was over….bottle had covered it to the back of the basement and back again…..could very well have been lethal
