shooting stix suck compared to this.
i can put my weight on the gun and the bipod doesnt move. i shoot better standing with this than FT position. sturdiest thing ever, plus it self centers the gun and if you need to move, there is no touching of the sticks necessary

quote Yellow Ninja:

Longer bipods are for seated shooting positions tron…. When you cant lay down and use a bipod cos either its too low to see target or the terrain prevents it etc…

I use shooting sticks… well, I should say I HAVE shooting sticks… rarely used them.

I have shooting sticks too..What a pain in the ass trying to not drop the sticks and load the gun etc. Took the Y tops off of the shooting staff and stuck them on tripods….much better.

Typically I use a tree for supports. What I really use my bipod for is to not set the dirt on the ground or have it fall over when not in use.

I think that that is a really cool idea, but wonder whether it might be a little impractical. I have a Bipod on my Condor, but never touch the length as I don’t see a reason to. Am I missing out on something?
