trigger mods or improvements
Hi guys just been trying a few things out with the Condor and had an idea. Dry firing the gun shows to me that the guns design is a little flawed in that the lock time for the hammer to hit the valve is pretty slow compare to say a bolt action rifle firing pin.
So here’s my thought, would a stiffer spring and a lighter hammer a) give the same impact as the standard or heavier hammer/spring combo, ie the same power level.
and b) have a faster lock time, meaning the gun fires much quicker allowing for far greater accuracy?
It would seem for me the greatest hinderence to great accuracy with these guns is your ability to hold steady whilst the gun fires. Because the firing cycle to me seems slow it allows for more inconsistency in accuracy.
I think a quicker lock time might improve the ability of the shooter to shoot better groups with more consistency. Has anyone tried this spring change?
Any other ideas for improving accuracy would be greatly appreciated..
