Q:

Tri Rail/Single Mount=??

Do any of you use a Tri Rail with single mount scope rings? It seems to sit a wee bit high. I like both, the rifle (Talon SS) feels a lot stronger with the Tri Rail. And the single mount rings gives the same feeling to my scope…..Leapers 4-16×50 AO mil-dot. The set-up is pretty accurate at distance, but in close shots are a mixed bag.

Just looking for hints, ideas,……….or consolation!!!

Thanks 😀

I prefer the added height of the tri-rail and better cheek placement for sure.

triails wen’t in stock when I was putting the AF guns together so I did BSquare one piece. I wouldn’t want the scope any higher

The extra height allows me a more comfortable head position. But I am a big guy with a big head so the height works well for me. Plus I like the solid feel the tri rail gives to the wimpy scope rail.

I am using a Leaper 3×9 50mm set up with single mounts and tri rail. I have no problem with up close shots. 15 yds is 1 mil dot down.
