Tophat adjustment

I have a stock TalonSS And no chrony.
The tophat is factory set at 0.152

What is the best gap for good power and most shots?

I thought I resd it here before but I cant find it.

So I’ll put away my feeler gauges and get out my ruler.

at .71″ you wouldn’t even need air, the tophat would just “shove” the pellet down the barrel when it bounced back from the hammer strike.
