The 25’s alive…heh..heh…heh
Got my barrel today,,,after i figured out which way was up, I threw the barrel into the lathe and started to work that was at 7:00. Had to take a break to go pick up the daughter from work and eat a bite of supper…Back to the basement i went to make the barrel bushings…Here it is midnight and I just test fired it….now I’m just waiting on my new aluminum goodies to get here so I can make my frame extension,,,one of the 2 butt pads from Adam will go on the tank and last but not least make some new wood….Oh almost forgot have to make new hammer and mod the valve……Damn I just thought I was close to done….. The dark side rules !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks kinfemaker,,,,,Called and got the parts for 55.00….Now need a little help…My tank on the 22 tss has a solid steel top below the tophat…THe tank that goes with this 25 has the brass insert under the tophat with 2 demples or shallow drilled holes…Am I looking at any potential problems converting the tss valve to the condor…I am also working out a deal with Bodisdad to get another valve….believe it is the newest design…. Also will the burst disk in the tss tank take a 3000 -3200 psi charge….

When I called AF and explained that I wanted the parts to upgrade an old Condor valve to the new type… they had no clue what I was asking.
Then when you call the parts what we’ve been calling them all this time, they still dont know.
Eventually these descriptions worked – “Silver coloured thing that looks like a top hat with a hole through the top, black plastic seal and brass insert thing”….
You’ll also need a Condor spring.
You can make your own Hammer weight, just 1″ OD length of steel with an ID that will clear the barrel and a little bit less than 1” long.
Give AF a call. They have the parts, and a price list of what you need. It really isn’t very much at all if you are willing to install the parts yourself.

what parts do I need to turn the standard into a condor valve… if anyone has any pics it maight be helpful
You would get close with a valve mod ~80fps. You would probably get 150(?) fps with the condor.
O.K. all you great gu-roo’s of the 25…How bad or how good is 750 fps on a 18 in barrel with kodiak heavies ( still a TSS tank and hammer)…I’m trying to decide my next move. I am either going to go condor valve or mod the existing..My goal is to achieve 50 ftlbs which is another 100 fps…Right now I am turning the hammer I am going to start around 95 grains…I don’t want the gun to come right out of the gate at max power. Hopeing to get a little curve..Any ideas from those that have been there before…

I’ve charged my tank to 3200psi several times. The burst disc is rated 4500 I think.
