Tank Leaking
I haven’t posted in a while but I have a serious problem, I filled up my tank up and went to shoot about a half hour later, got one shot off but it was flat. I took the tank off an I could feel air coming out the tophat area. Can anyone help me with this situation.

WOW……… I MEAN WOW! Just got my tank back from TalonTunes and Tony went above and beyond what I expected not only did he fix my leak he polished and painted everything up change my old inserts to the new ones and he did the Oring mod, I swear you would think he just sent me a brand new tank. THANKS A WHOLE LOT TONY! Rat #7000 Is dedicated to you buddy!

Oh Yeah just spoke yo Tony he said he could have my tank back to me fixed and modded for more “Rat Mayhem”! With any luck I will reach 7000 Rats before the year is out. :4:

Thanks knife, I pmed and emailed tony, I rather send it to him and hopefully get the “Oring Mod” also.
Mike, all I had to do when mine started leaking was remove the valve stem and valve from the bottle, place the black valve seal on the stem and place the stem in a drill.
I spun the valve stem, with the black seal and touched it up with a piece of 500 grit wet dry paper. This gave it a new surface, and it has been lasting over three more years after this treatment. (There really is nothing there to screw up.) 😀
If you don’t want to do this, simply call AF and order the valve seat its self. They are dirt cheap!
No telling what AF calls it though! 🙄
Make damed sure you totally empty the bottle before unscrewing the valve assembly! 😯

Most liklely you just need to replace the orings..or maybe the Delrin valve piece.
Any way its not an expensive fix…
It is a PITA to get the valve out the for the first time.
