Q:

Talon SS on C02

I really like the looks and accuracy of the Talon SS. I have several CO2 guns and was wondering if the seals are the same in the CO2 version of the Talon SS. If they are, I will probably get the air version and get the tank conversion from Pyamidair. I know CO2 has less fps but way more shots before refilling tank. I also dont have a scuba tank or pump so that is something else I will have to add. Thanks for any help.

Condor C02 in 22 How many full power shots can you get per fill? and what is the true muzzle vel with a JSB or Kodiak or 14.3 heck you pick one Adam.

quote Joe from WV:

Question If you would have a Talon in 22cal. with a 24″ barrel and JSB exact pellet or Kodak, what would muzzle vel be? and is it accurate. As you can tell I am weighting between the T and the C since I don,t have the funds up yet, I am going to ask all the dumb questions. Thanks Joe

You looking at 900-1000+ fps with 24″. Just to let you know the gun is very loud with that barrel and can be nose heavy.

CO2 on the only two o-rings in the gun will be fine. What happens usually with cheap o-rings and CO2 is the get saturated and swell up. The breach o-rings are only exposed for a very short time and not under pressure for long. Would be fine with most any o-ring imho…,but as always, the harder the better, get some 90 dura rings and have less to worry about:)

I’ve used cheap plumbing grade o-rings as breach seals in many of my CO2 guns with no ill effects, but of course would never use them in a gas filled tube.

.22 all the way: the gun makes more power and is more efficient in .22

I have several CO2 tanks and need to get the adapter also.

thanks for info. I am going to get the regular SS and the adapter for CO2. Like CO2 in the summer but in winter I will run it on air. Gets cold here. Whats your opinion on .177 vs. .22. Most of my other CO2s are .22. Heres some pics of my favorites with mods I have done to make them better.

Well actually their are only 2 orings on the talon and that is on the breech. Then standard talon tank is not design for CO2. But when you get the CO2 adapter you can easily add a Co2 tank and have no worries.
