Polyoxymethylene Tm. Dupont, runs rates at 90 degrees celsius. Whereas the UHMWPE that i use come from the retarder valves of Scania trucks (Hydraulic braking device) This plastic is less ductile again and rates to over 200 degrees celsius. It takes allot more of a hammering. If i was to step up again i would go to Tuff-Nol..

P.S. if you ever allow silicon grease to contact the Delrin valve it will corrode twice as fast cause of the acidic properties in the grease that polymers dont like.. lol

This is I cannot wait for. I’ve watched all your videos, and noticed you’ve built your own custom valve, and used UHMW for the valve seal. Does that perform better than delrin, or is it just what you had available? I’ve been tinkering with a valve of my own, so I’m eager to see how you went about yours. You certainly got my attention with that 200 meter stuff. Thanks for sharing with us.

yeah i think im gona try somewhere else. You re obviously using the right grease. You could try winding the TH forward 1 mm again?

Sweet, thanks man. Pyramid takes Forever to ship to me in cali, I can’t even imagine new zealand!

I will show once i get tha 24″ barrel. Looks like ive given up on pyramid air. what a joke.

Hey cronic I have got a question for you. How are you able to shoot your gun at 240 bar? What have you done to your hammer/hammer spring? what weight hammer do you have in it?

cheers

Yeah, that is much better.

is that algud?

Cool, thanks man. Oh, btw your avatar is HUGE!! 😯

When i get my new barrel (in the next 2 weeks) i will strip the whole thing down and post pics.

What kinda mods have you done? I would like some detail about what you have done as well. I see you have a moded valve, hammer and hammer spring, what did you do to them?
