TALON CO2 QUESTION
First of all i have been building crosman H.O. co2 guns for years. the talon has been in my sights ever since it came out. My only problem has been the expense of a scuba tank or pump. Plus the fact that i would have to drive for 70 minutes to get a tank filled. i have several co2 and hpa tanks. So i guess my question here is can i get better than 700 fps out of a 18″ barrel on co2, hopefully someone will say 850. Second is this an easy mod. and last but not least is the number of shots on a 20 oz tank really near 1000.

do you think it’s worth spending the extra 100 bucks to go from the talon 18 to the condor 24″

I responed to your post before but must have hit preview instead of submit and it never showed up.
You probably can get about 750 fps with CP and you can actually buy the gun with the CO2 adapter and tank. It is a good deal considering what PCP are going for these days.
Run it off CO2 and then upgrade to a HPA one day. The number of shots from a 20oz is so many people simply loose count it is so many.

Personally,
I would get a Talon SS or a Condor and not the Talon. The SS and Condor have the longer frame and can enclose a 12 barrel.
If you dont want the SS because of the 12″ barrel then I would go for the Condor. The longer frame of the SS and Condor give more options.
The 24″ Condor does feel nose heavy though…That is somethingelse to consider.
