striker weight/valve theory
i know this could turn into a long thread but i was looking for info on the site about striker weight and valve theory but could not find it. so the question is i have a stock condor and want it a little more consistent and was wondering if increasing my striker weight would help, i know you guys do it and was wondering what weights do you go with and how it helps out. also what is the stock striker weigh. it is a .22, new valve and i shoot mostly kodiak’s and some ein jin’s. thanks for the help

I have a brass 70g hammer, that i used with excellant results, when i had my modded Talon valve in. I still use it with Blodnobs valve. With the tophat set at .058, PW10, 21.1g Kodiaks, TSS 12″ barrel. I rounded the numbers to the nearest whole number dropping the decimal. I’d rather have a curve for a string but this one is pretty consistent given what we have for a valve. Still good numbers for the setup and a solid 30fpe over 20 shots.
