SS .25 Cal?
Since this gun changes barrels so easily, I figured I’d take advantage of this, and my first thought was to get a optional 24″ .22 barrel for when I’m places other than my dinky backyard for longer range shooting. Then I saw .25 cal barrels available as well, and figured why not just go there for even more range and power. Just wondering if there’s any breach mods (or any mods) that have to be done to do this? If so I’ll probably just stick with .22, but I’m hoping it pops right in and works just like the other barrels do.
If it does work, I’m also wondering what velocites I could expect in .25. Right now I’m getting a 780/90 fps with a 22.1 grain Kodiak in the stock 12″ barrel… What might I get in let’s say a 24/26 grain .25 pellet from a 24″ barrel? Last but not least, where could one get a LW .25 barrel, with bushings. Tnx

I need an 18″, but I don’t think it will work with the used shroud I just bought. (It’s one you made… bought it off the yellow forum).

I can machine any size .25 barrel up to 23.8 inches.
I really like 18-21 inches.
Makes for a good handling rifle.

Tony, do you sell an 18 inch barrel in .25? I have a new shroud I would love to use on my TalonSS with it. 😆
with a valve mod, you could get it up to around 900.

You seem to be the go to man with these rifles, beautiful work by the way. 31 grains @ 800 fps sounds real good, and the barrel prices seems very reasonable as well. When the work checks start coming in again, I’ll be getting back to ya… cheers
You can expect about 800fps with a 24″ .25 barrel shooting 31gr Kodiaks.

You can expect approx. 15 fps per inch of barrel.
I sell .25 barrels that drop in with no other mod.

That looks like one of mine.
But I never sold an un finished piece like that. Someone stripped the finish off.
