Q:

So many chronys, so little money!

Didn’t realize they were so many types of Chronometers out there. Some of the forums don’t speak too highly of the Shooting Chrony, etc.. Damn, I was just fixing to buy one too.

Is the ProChrono Digital, or the PACT any better? There was one “Big Dog” I came across, that baby was about $700. Can’t recall what the name of it was. But for that kind of money I’d expect to be bred and fed. Suggestions…………opinions……………all contribute to my limited knowledge base.

Thanks, 😀

SANDMAN CHRONY!!!! the only chrony youll need for airforce stuff

YN has a good point. Sort of depends upon what you might like and what you might use it for. Most of em work fine. I got sort of a mid line.

This one is a bit different and considered good by some.

BTW FinMike has a program you can put in your lap top and you are good to go. Free no less ❗

I have a shooting chrony. Its kind of big when you have the lights on it, but it works just fine.

I broke mine by shorting it out when I was using a mains adapter to power it instead of a 9v battery… mains adapter shorted and gave the chrony lil more than 9v…

I sent the chrony in and they replaced it free.

Dont need the expensive one. I have one of the higher end ones, but never use the extra features like memory or standard deviation / averaging etc… I just write the result down and copy into excel, so I should have got the cheaper one.

Don’t have one but if you are sort of looking for the works with stuff the PACT is good. I have heard good things about them from the folks that have em
