Q:

Shooting my Condor at 100 yards today

I used CP .22 hollow points.

My shooting position.

POV from the target paper.

I have added an extra hammer weight from Airforce to my rig today. It was the lighter striker weight for the new valve and I noticed it helped increased some velocity.

To be honest I didnt think my condor would hit 100 yards like that, especially using cp hollow points. I filled to 2200 psi because I had the old condor valve.

I was aiming about 3 mil-dots down using my Leapers 4×16 56mm scope on full power. I also added the extra striker weight and changed the valve spring with a stronger one for .177 barrels.

When I removed the striker weight and shot with the stock setup, my shots were down 1 extra mil-dot. It wasn’t too consistent either. I’ll have to chrony my shots next time.

That is pretty impressive shooting, but whats the problem?

Only 2 X-rings? 😛

I wonder how my Condor would to at that range, I will have to set up and give it a go. I shot worse than that at 70 yards my first try.

wonderful dude and the scenery, makes for lovely memories, 🙂

That is impressive. I’d be curious to see what Kodiaks or EJ’s do at that distance.

Great job….

CP hollow points….that’s a surprise.

Nice pics

nice target mate .have u ever shot any vermin at that range with the condor the reason i,m asking is i often took shots with the condor at that range a rabbits and hare,s and get kills no probs.

I haven’t had the opportunity to shoot vermin yet. I enjoy shooting cans from trees, plastic bottles and sometimes metal plates. Its fun using my regulated 1350 psi tank too with .177 pellets. I might try some FT sometime.

Sweeeeet Dude,

Love the whole setup dude, looks like a great place to have some even better times and memories if you ask me…

Looks like good shooting also, bear in mind the only shots I have been able to take at those kinds of distance have been at nasty grackles in the tops of trees from the back yard LOL. These might even be considered hailmary shots LOL… Never have been able to put mine on paper at that distance, but hope to someday.

Would love to come setup with you someday at your sweeeet looking site, if I could just drive there… Not to forget mentioning if I could get there in a few hours, not a few days LOL… I live in the middle of no whereville :):):) Heck I was to ever get up that way, I would never leave

Heck I have been sitting here just trying to read on some of so many posts on this Forum and have no where near enough time for that, let alone the time to drive all the way there to shoot with a TAG memember at such a cool place :):):)

Really was a nice looking place and PIC’s dude, thanks for sharing those

Sweet! May have to get one of those new valves to go with the new 18″ Bbl. in the SS. The Bbl. shoul be here mon. or tues.

Great shooting!!! Beeing a true Texican, that pic of all the snow makes me shiver!!! Anything below 78f worries me a little! MIke

Nice target and very impressive range. You movie stars know how to live. 8)
