Q:

regulated Talon? CO2 adapter & 88ci carbon tank

new to Talon… please forgive me if this has been covered.

is it possible to convert Talon for regulated output?
a CO2 adapter should mate to a carbon 88ci paint ball tank.

HPA paint ball tanks are usually regulated from 600-850 psi. regulator spring can be modded for most any pressure desired.

has anyone already done this?

I would suggest the new benjamin sheridan tank for the discovery. It outputs 2000 psi. I eagerly wait for this to be available in canada.

thanks… this could be a solution for a regulated talon.

already got the little carbon tank.. does anyone have an extra CO2 adapter for sale?

NICE pic Rusty! I didn’t know for sure how you shimmed the reg in there.

Very cool, Jim.

Yes, it is easy to bump up the pressure.

In a talon w 18″ barrel with a PB reg set at 1400 it will shoot about 770, very consistently, with 16g pellet. You do need to change out the 1.5K burst disk……ask me how I know.

Eric1200 on this forum has a Talon setup this way.

I never modified the paint ball tank’s regulator myself, but some people suggested that it’s easy to increase the output pressure by adding an extra washer.

sirjeigo on here has a couple posts on here about it…might be someone else also but I remember his…I think it is in this folder too…he was getting some good performance out of his.

EDIT had remembered wrong guy it was sirjeigo who has the setup…

Jim.
