Question on Straight shoters forum about tog
KDOG has asked what has become of TOG and who is to blame, anyone else care to respond feel free as i have.

One more thing. Let it not be forgotten…..
That Don Dragon Owner of the TOG shut down the TOG on December 1, 2007 without warning or cause. He announced it would remain dormant for a year until the fees ran out. At that time he had only about 5 people posting out of 3000 members.
Several days later he opened it again. That is when we asked for people to go and download their posts and other information that had been on loan to the TOG before he shut it down without notice again.
They are in the dark and would not believe the whole story anyways…lol
No one here wanted the TOG to shut down. That is why Don did it. Just think about it do you really think he would have closed it down if that is what we wanted? We had a lot of info there that is lost now and that makes Don happy.
We don’t need to worry to much about what the other really say because it usually

TOG is gone (from the public eye) and a lot of people (including myself) are to blame.

I remember puting up with alot of BS and it got worse after Dennis shined around. I haven’t looked at the SS post since i posted over there. We as members had little choice be pushed around or move on.
