Prophet II – Gauge Alignment

When I tighten the regulator against the rifle body, the gauges are misaligned. Someone suggested unscrewing a quarter turn and then airing it up. The pressure would hold the bottle in place. That does not seem like a great idea since the bottle is moving around more than seems necessary.
