Thanks Mrnewbie, good information and good pics.March 27, 2015 at 4:57 pm #222896
I took the trigger apart polished and lubed it up in 2013 when I got the gun and started my tinkering. It did help a trigger that was not all that bad to start with made it smoother. I may take it apart again and switch up to lighter springs if i can get them. Some have claimed pen springs? We will see

I’m hoping we will see a new version super sear so we can have a good adjustable trigger on par with all the other major manufactures. I should have saved $100 and bought the old style Talon SS that was available and put $55 toward a two stage sear.

Not much sense posting a super sear mod for the AirForce on the 54 forum. I’m not even registered there because I don’t like the archaic style of the site. He would get a lot more interest if he posted here. Or on Gatewaytoairguns where there is 10 times the traffic. I bet most of the old style Airforce trigger owners don’t even know about the two stage adjustable super sear that has been out for years.April 5, 2015 at 6:01 pm #223665
He couldn’t handle being on this forum… He doesn’t have thick skin…April 15, 2015 at 7:24 pm #224520quote Caboose212:
This might be true however we might have our new super duper sear on the way sooner then we all thought.

On the ”NEW STYLE” AF guns, can anyone tell me the weight of the trigger AFTER adding the super sear to it? I saw where the guy who developed it said a bit over 1 pound ”but” he’s selling them lol…. like to hear from you guys,, thanksJune 6, 2016 at 1:22 pm #254488
As the A.O.A. He said he did not send to Brazil the new super sear, I decided to solve the problem, I took the original sear and made a slit in it, tucked a bit of a alen and cut the previously measured size of the weapon joined the two pieces and was sanding to get the best fit.
the trigger was very light, however continued very safe.
a picture of the bonding process.
so you’re stuck, I will give the finishing sanding very lightly !!December 12, 2016 at 12:52 pm #263032
Can anyone post the diagram of the new trigger? I cant seems to find one. Cheers guys
