Beeman sold those over here in the colonies. The barrel unlatched from the breech and I believe you cocked it by pulling it up and forward. Lots of power, but accuracy was not minute of angle.

A powerful pistol for its time, according to Dr. Beeman’s catalog which I received back in the early ’70’s.

Rev, I got it in part payment on a debt, though a car boot sale would indeed be prime hunting grounds for this type of thing!

PB, I think its been used to hammer nails into brickwork.
