Photo’s Condor….PICS

Here is Pat’s Bird before I pack it up.

It was set up to work with a Condor and Talon tank….

31 grain Kodiaks
Condor tank avgerage velocity 980fps.
Talon tank average velocity 800fps.

Best part of the day came when I was able to snap off a couple shots at 55 yards.

Hope he likes it……

Due to the vicious rain storm in north Cali. and my desire to shot, I setup my indoor range with the family away to test some shooting in the dark at 20 yrads. On the target below with the test listed and I would appreciate some comments from you hunters for some good tips on hunting at night. It seems that if the game I’m hunting is black, and it’s dark out side, it will be hard to get good shot placement due to the black Reticle?

Row-1= I shot this one with the Illuminated Green Reticle. The red was very hard to see. Do too the white paper I was able to find the small targets and the Mil-Dots with the Laser.

Row-2= I shot with the Illuminated Red Reticle and the laser just to help see the kill zone, for it is black and it seemed harder to pick up the black kill zone.

Row-3= I shot with the flash light and the Illuminated Green Reticle. No laser.

Row-4= I shot with the flash light and the Illuminated Green Reticle. With the laser on.

I did some test shots too see for my self, and to show my kids the power of what this airgun can do. I shot a 2×6 piece of wood at 20 yards with an EunJin 42.8gr pellet at 2900psi and it went clean through 😮 You should have seen the look on my kids face 😆 My youngest boy said, Make my gun do that…… I LOL, his gun is a tuned Gamo Recon 🙂 That’s my BOY!!!!! The Condor is the only sirgun in my stable that will go through 2″ of wood.

OOPS!! Thanks for the clarification Tony. I get screwed up with the lingo with airforce guns, but I’m learning :D. Whats the Micro? Maybe I’m thinking the valve?

Very Nice Pat,
That Bird is looking Bad Ass…..

Just so there is no confusion, what you are calling a Micro tank is actually a standard flow tank.

You have a Condor high flow tank and a talon standard flow tank.

Great shooting Bud

Tony

nice groups, I think you can call that dialed at 25 yards, I know I would

Jim, I have not put a string together yet, but it was doing an Avg. of 830fps with Kodiak’s at 2800psi today.

Photo/Anthony that is one SWEET looking setup!!!

Any chance you got a chrony reading on the Micro with the .25 kinda curious how that shoots?

Congrats, Jim.

I really think I have the Condor lined out. I was able to try the 42gr EunJin out at 30 yards with the high flow tank, and the Talon tank with Kodiak’s at 25 yards and this is how it did. I have the gun sighted in at 30 yards but will go to the range next weekend to sight in at 40 yards with the Kodiak’s and map out how the gun will shoot from 25 to 50 yards. One thing is that the gun shoots better on a rest than with the bi-pod. I will try and sort this, the bi-pod is a must for hunting. I tried to get some 30 yard shoots with the Kodiaks but I had to stop, kids started play in the area and my son the look out informed me.

Talon tank at 2800psi

High flow tank at 2900psi

I added somethings to the Condor and I’m waiting for one more to show up. Great gun this .25 Condor :D. Total weight is at 11.15lbs.

AirForce LS-1 Laser

SureFire 6P Flashlight. This is one hell of a light. I tried to mount it on the tri-rail, but my safe is full and it would not ift. So I had to moved it to the bottom of the gun but will have to test it out to see if it’s good for lighting the target.

Thank You Gentlemen….ahem..

Pat, your rig likes Kodiaks. The majority of these LW barrels do.

Please enjoy your .25 for a while and have fun. Dont worry about the .22.

There are guys in the past (well, just one in paticular) who stripped their rifle within a couple days of getting from me. Then cried and whined about it to everyone except me about how it didnt work right anymore.

Enjoy my friend.

I hear you Tony, Fear not with me the gun is sweet and setup great. Kodiaks are on the way 😀 .

I just got a .25 Barrel from Tony 😀 …. I’ve been missing my .25 Condor bad since I sold it so I had to get another.

Have you tried it out? What pellet is working out for it? It looks like it will be some time before I try the .22 barrel. The .25 is a blast.

The condor was made for .25. It should come with a .25 from the factory.

The Condor came in today and THIS THING IS NICE!!!! I must admit, it’s much better than I was thinking it was going to be. I did some small test with the 42.8gr EunJin pellets and only at 25 yards with groups of .30 to .50″ and “holy cow” was it smacking the hell out of my pellet trap ooh wee!!! I will do more test at 40 and 50yards and really set the zero on it. Also the trigger pull is very impressive for a hunting rig with an Avg. of 1-lbs 8.7oz from my Lymann gauge and it breaks like glass. I have been shooting my 850 airmag for sometime and the Condor trigger is like night an day for me. The hole rig weighs in at 10.15lbs and surprising thing is I can shoot it pretty good off hand even with the rig been so long. Well I’m vary happy with the first preliminary test and more will come. Yes I’m happy camper with this .25 Condor.

Pat J. 😀
