Q:

OUCH

Well, been wondering what would happen if you fired a Condor with the bolt forward ❓ Found out today… No damage to the rifle. Thank god I was loading a pellet at the time. Only damage incurred was a perfectly round hole punched through the thumbnail. Hurt a bit 😯 – Don’t try this at home…

I’ve done that before. Yeah. It hurts.

I’d rather risk that than keep in that terrible safety. 😛

So I guess that means you had the safety disengaged? Or removed?

If not, Lizzy shouldnt have fired at all.

This is why I havent touched that feature. I thought about removal, but when loading without a safety you are at the mercy of the airgun gods.

As you are all aware by now, my Lizzy came direct from Tony. The trigger is crisp and clean and breaks like fine china. Was in a hurry to get out this morning and I had her laying on her side, pushing with my thumb, and somehow managed to tap the trigger with my F-U finger. Not one to be rushed or mishandled, Lizzy promptly decided to reteach me a lesson that I learned a long time ago- when dealing with women or firearms, you should never rush. 😳 😳

Yeah! How the heck did that happen?

How did you manage to fire the rifle whilst loading it?

Oww….might be a good way to pierce something 😳
