I am in process of getting $ up for an SS purchase 🙂

Tourney paintball was a hobbie for quite a few years, so i have access to 3000psi, 6000 psi n2 fill stations, and co2 fills as well. I live in central Kasas so no scuba shops anywhere close lol. thanks for all the responses! would anyone have a good idea on how to build a fill station for these bottles for an N2 tank? I have also thought about the co2 adapter for the SS and run a 4500/4500 n2 paintball bottle with an adj reg on it, cant get to 3000, but i think the nitro duck reg wil go up to 1200psi

How would the fps be compaired to air?

I’ve run mine on nitrogen since I got it. I’m too lazy to pump, and getting scuba tanks filled meant a 100 mile round trip. I rent a 4500 psi, 443 cu. ft. tank from a local welding supply house. Tank’s about $10 a month, gas cost me about $60. I’m still using the same tank I got last August, and I shoot quite a bit. I actually expected to use it up quicker, at this rate, I may have to buy a tank. I was able to modify the standard AF scuba adapter to work with the N2 tank, so it was a cheap way to get started with keeping a PCP fed :-). I just modified another scuba adapter to work with a 44 cu. ft. SCBA tank, now I need to put together a filler so I can fill my little tanks from the big one. If anyone needs more details or pics, let me know. Later.

Dave

Welcome !

You sure can run off of N2. The air we breath is about 70% N2. If you can get it filled you would be good to go.

Yep-clean/dry/inert–no dieseling!
Wish I had a cheap source for N2. 🙁
