I guess I should try and keep checking back on things….

Here’s a review.. havent read it yet but plenty of pictures.

Firstly.. the website.. any site with the word “wow” screams scam to me, especially when it’s just selling a single high dollar and brand new to the market item…. Just my thoughts… Might be totally wrong, but thats what I’d have in mind before giving them my cash

Plus if you return it for refund they keep 25% as a restocking fee…. and you gotta return within 48 hours to even get that.

I noticed the supervision a few months ago, here is the website of the manufacturer that has a nice video.

They have recently been advertised in the predator magazine that you get free from pyramidair.com

Michael on the nightvision forum banned all mention of these… he claims its because they havent been tested and there were no reviews.. but I’m sure it was partially due to the fact he sells Night Vision.

On to the device…

Its CCD and not tubed based (like Gen 1, 2 & 3 devices)… similar as the CCD’s in the weaver Night “Viewer” and Sony camcorders but looks to be a LOT more sensitive. CCD’s generally in the past required a LOT of IR to work at all, and even then its very short range… this one based on the video’s doesn’t.

My take is that I think it has the potential to be a great device, I think CCD is the way to go in NV, I’ve seen and used some phenomonal CCD based Night Vision CCTV security camera. BUT I’m not going to buy one of these until I get independent reviews or information on them, as all that I read a few months ago was the manufacturer info… and we all know how that works.

Here’s another site… cheaper price too
