Newbie Question
I am saving for a Talon SS, but I see know someone who is selling a condor that is about the same price as the talon SS. I already have a 24 inch barrel in .22 that i got for the SS. He has a moderator on it. So I think sound should not be too much of an issue.
Should i just get the SS or get the used Condor??

If I were you, I’d get the SS, since you already have the 24″ barrel, and with a moderator to boot. You’ll get real good power with that set up, and more shots per fill than the Condor.
The Condor is more powerful than the 24″ SS, but you’ll have to ask yourself how much power you really need, and I’m assuming the Condor is not moderated or shrouded, so it’s gonna be real LOUD.

Kojak….depends on the condition of the used Condor, and the reputation of the seller. I’m a power junkie so the Condor would be an easy choice for me.

I agree. Get the ss. The ss with a 24″ .22 is nothing to laugh at. It’s powerful. Additionally, you can perform a valve mod for an extra ~10fpe. You could even upgrade to .25 if you wanted.
With a valve mod and a 24″ .25 barrel, my ss tops out at around 55fpe with 42 grain eun jins. It shoots 31 grain kodiaks at a maximum of 880fps. IMO, thats plenty of power for anything up to a raccoon, or even a coyote with a well placed shot.
