Q:

newbEE here saying howdy

hello to you all 8)
I’v been lurking on the AF forms for a few of weeks now, and lets face it, my brain hurts!
I’m running a stock condor (#85),
which I thought was performing just fine before I started this marathon of reading.
the first thing I need to determine is which vale do I have, I think there are there 3 different vales from the factory, (original, changed, and new) am I correct on this?
I don’t have a problem shooting with a full 3000 fill, but I have noticed the punch power as well as the noise is much grater after 5 or so shots, is this the valve or top hat adjustment?
Thank you all for your expertise in problem solving, diagrams, pics and wealth of great information.

yes, I see, so that sounds more like the valve spring adjustment over the top hat. I shall do some more reading, for the excedrin is kicking in now and I’ll try to figure this all out, adjustment, shave, or new spring.
Thanks for the quick reply – get the

You might be experiencing the power curve. With the higher pressure it is harder to open the valve and as you shoot it starts to decrease the tank pressure and then you are able to open the valve even more resulting in more air being used then as you shoot the velocity starts to decrease….A bell curve you see.
