New Years resolutions?

I just want to do some Airgun hunting in 08.
Tony,
That’s close! What I remember actually looks just like a 1919, and the Thompson is a dead ringer. But that gun that you found would work just fine. As for automating a AF gun, that would take some engineering; but anything is possible.
to get a longer barrel, and make a stock for the calico.

Cool looking Gun, I wonder what it looks like on the indside?
What I had in mind Was this:
Make the area behind the breach and where the tophat is, into an air cylinder. Just add a seal on the rear of the breach.
Add a tube from a gas tap 1/2 of the way down the barrel to this air cylinder.
When you fire, the pellet goes past the gass tap and the tube routes pressure to the cylinder behind the breach.
This pressure pushes the breach forward, recocking the gun.
This scheme uses existing valves, springs, hammer weights – all the stuff we are familiar with and know works. Round balls eliminate most feed problems.
This idea is an intermediate (and easier) step to a semi auto talon, just add a pellet magizine.

MM,
Have you ever seen the carnival version of the 1928 Thompson, or the 1919 browning .30 caliber machinegun? They are run off of compressed air and shoot small bird shot, (i’m not sure what size). There has got to be others here who could give you more details, but I know that they exist. Good luck!
Oh, here’s a thought…an HPA powered Gattling/Vulcan/minigun?
🙂 Yep. I want to kill more stuff. I figured I’d go with a resolution I’d like.
And, I want to be a nicer person.
Nah, the second one is a joke. 😈
MM, when you get that gun working I want to see videos of you tearing trees apart getting after squirrels. 🙂
9mm? 😥 Lol. I’m so impatient. But take care of your wife first blodnob.
My New Years Resolution is to not cause any more forum owners to have a nervous break down.
Benchpress 300lbs for 10.

I resolve to figure out how to get consistentcy from my Condor.
The new valve helps, but figuring out the correct striker/hammer weight will take some time.
Valve is still slow opening till around 2500 PSI, then continues to climb until its suddenly out of air.
