New user and 1st post

Hello to all,
First of all happy new year to all of you, all my best wishes for 2015.
After having been a visitor for quite some time now, I decided to get registered with this forum and become active.
My name is Jens (most call me JP or Schultz), I am living in upper Normandy, France.
After having stopped shooting powderburners when moving to France some years ago, I have rediscovered airgunning again. Much more interesting here, as the power limit is higher than where I learned shooting, allowing to shoot longer ranges and outdoors. Still not the same as in the US, but OK, overall improvement to .177 at max 7.5 Joules…
I don’t yet have an AF airgun, but Tony has accepted to build me one. Base is a Talon SS. Trying not to think too much about it so the wait won’t seem too long. Meanwhile, will continue training with the Bobcat and LGV while rebuilding my Sniper and most probably be a little active in the “other brands” section until the Talon comes in.
Well, that’s it for the moment, again all the best for the new year ladies and gents.
JP

I didn’t ask fearing they’d keep me there 😉

I will definitely look you up because that will be on the itinerary. Thank you!

Do they let you up in the tower?

These are for you, SECoda, the time you come over:

When you’re here, let me know.

That’s some great shooting!!!
Respect, didn’t have a chance yet to go over 50m myself, but looks similar at that distance…

Oh I’m sure it did papa, he’s probably in his closet right now playing with his cat, and other things!

My Bobcat at 75 yards…..

Yes, read about that in some other post. Maybe this one triggered a reaction?

Nice collection JP. Ville’s going to love that Bobcat, he keeps two in his closet.

Ok, hoped to be able to take the pictures in daylight, but no way at the moment due to my schedule at work. It’s dark outside when I leave home, same when I leave work.

Here we go, sorry for the artificial light quality images:

FX Bobcat, .22, Hawke 4-12×50, the favourite of my collection, reliable, precise, no issues, love this one.

Walther LGV challenger, .177, open sights , yeah, that’s real fun

Umarex Hämmerli Airmagnum 850 CO2, Walther 8×40 (total overkill, but came with the gun, so what?) low range and indoor plinker…

No photo for the Evanix tactical sniper, .22, currently in bits and pieces due to valve leak. Not yet completely sorted out, I don’t want to hurt your eyes too much. Photo follows when operational again.

Umarex Beretta PX4 CO2, .177, my wife’s favourite…

Daisy PowerLine 717, .177, got this from my father … 23 years ago … Man, I got old recently… Still operational and precise with any kind of ammo.

Well, that’s all for the moment, waiting for my Talon SS to arrive

Welcome. I just want to see pictures of Mont St Michel. 😯 I would love to visit there.

Well come on JP lets see some pictures of your toys.

Merci GKU, so they say.
Thanks for the welcome.

bienvenue JP !
