New Toyz fo r the Talon SS thanks to Tony!
Tony has a good reputation in the airgun hobby and it is with good reason. I wanted a .22 16″ long so I could keep the SS short and tight if I wanted to. I also wanted a shroud so I could keep the bark of the 16″ barrel down when around the house. So after telling Tony what I wanted he sent me a beautiful barrel with a vented bushing and a shroud.
If I put the shroud on the 12″ barrel the gun is totally silent with only a hammer dropping for noise. With the 16″ the gun only makes a pfffft! and that is all.
With the 16″ I can shoot CPs at 550fps on PW setting of 0 and at 6 925+ on a 2500psi fill. So at 3k more fps will come. But being able to shoot so low will come in handy taking small critters in complete silence.
With the shroud on the SS it increase the OAL 8″ and keeps the gun manageable. One day I may have to get a 5″ shroud but I will give the 8″ a try.
High quality work I am impressed. If it sounds like an endorsement for Tony then Good….I am tired of seeing Hacks beg for work when there are true craftsmen who can do it right!

Thanks for that, Tony.
So If I understand correctly one can get nearly any barrel length choked?? Let me also ask, since we are on the subject, could one get a 12 mm OD as well ❓ in say ~16″
I think that is a slick set up Adam has. 😉
