Q:

New to the forum

Hi all.

names Cody , been shooting firearms and airguns since i was little. now im 18 and have my firearms permit ( i live in canada) i hope all of you had a restful and happy holiday season.

i have recently been taking an interest to the condor. After reading all the tinkering you have to do on the gun to get it to shoot well, im having doubts. im mechanically inclined, but i am little spooked of working with over 2500 PSI of pressue sitting under my cheek. so i have a question for anyone willing to answer.

i am about to buy a condor, this will be my primary gopher gun ( not to mention i love the looks). i am curious as to if there is anyone in canada ( preffer. in Alberta ) who cann tune my gun up. i have already pestered ehrm.. sent an e-mail to Mr. Anthony regarding a valve tune up. i REALLY dont want to have to mess around with the border ( other than sending a tank to someone). anyone? 🙁

TIA

Cody

From what I have heard, the new Condor valves dont need the tinkering that the old ones sometimes needed.

I had one of the older Condor’s and didnt tinker with it until I’d owned it for about 3 years, and that wasnt because I was having problems, I just upgraded it to a different caliber.

My remaining SS is the same way, I just change something because of ergonomics (pistol grip, butt plate) or for function (baffles, trigger modification) as opposed to repairing something faulty such as a dud valve.

EVEN if you did come across a problem, were pretty good about helping people out if they want to try to fix it themselves and its a nice simple design thats easy to work on.

When you get a new Condor you do not need the valve worked on for performance. It should work fine. Do not worry about the airtank next to your face. They are strictly regulated and have zero history in injuring someone if used within guidelines. Remember fireman carry tanks on their backs into burning buildings.

When you get your condor be aware it sounds like a firearm when shot.
