Greetings TAG members, nice forum you have here, nice work from some crafty fellas too, an inspiration to mod my Talon SS when it finally gets here.
Looking to get a Talon SS with the stock .177 cal 12″ barrel, a .22 cal 18″ barrel, bipod, pump and extra tank.
I figure the smaller cal in the smaller barrel will get me quick .177 cal pellets and the 18″ .22 cal barrel will get me good .22 cal velocities… Is this a correct assumption?
Looking forward to reading more of the great surplus of good stuff and funny stuff.

I made them on my mill. Thanks for the compliment. We have a lot of talented guys here be it with metal , wood, hunting or shooting. It is nice to come to a place and find so many talented people…..
Oh yah….we have a couple of Jack Asses also 😆 YN tells me I am in that catagory. 😯September 26, 2007 at 6:55 pm #24987
Ah, I see, I though it was a joke when someone said you made them, man I wish I had a mill again. I had the fun of setting up a shop to make custom mountain bike frames. I designed and machined the frame tacking fixture from aluminum, probably 300 hours just for the fixture. Then we made a dozen frames, only a few were the same and I made my own full suspension MTB just before I left to finish school.
Made a few bridges for guitars and did some neat inlay work with the mill on electric guitar bodies as well…
No wonder your rig looks so killer!

Oh I love that stuff. I use to ride a lot before years ago and stopped ….got fat…Hmmm I bet one thing has to do with another 😆
Love the look of the frame and jig. Making the tools is almost as fun as making the project…lolSeptember 26, 2007 at 7:14 pm #24989
Yep, same thing happened here too… 😳
Can’t wait to get the Talon, tired of shooting my crappy rifle with the great scope. 😆
