Q:

new condor with leapers swat scope

i was wondering if anyone had some advice as to what settings should have my gun at to sight it in? i plan on hunting and plinking. i have enough room to sight it in at 100 yards. i bought eujins, kodiaks, and some crow magnums. the only chrono i have is for my paintball gun so i don’t know if it will work. any tips?

I think the PW will mostly serve you as a tuning tool once you start shooting over a chrono.

where does it say what setting to put the power wheel at? or do i need a chrono to go off the fps? maybe i am just having a special moment.

Set your tophat at .070, and your power wheel in the middle say at 6. Then go shooting and see which of the ammo you have will group the best. You should be able to get the EJs and the Kodiaks to group well at 50yrds +. The Crow Mags will group OK out to 30 yrds or so.

Does this help?

The graphs I posted were of the ammo you said you had and the velocities you should be able to get.

They should give you an idea of what you can do.

maybe like which ammo to use at what power setting? then i could fine tune more when i get the scratch together for a chrono.

i was kinda hoping for something a more simple to just get me going. but i will check out the calculator.

Chairgun is a free download. It is a pretty cool tool to play around with. Registration is optional, but only about $15USD, I need to cough it up someday.

What gun are you shooting? How is it setup? What range do you think you will spend the most time shooting? How big will most of your targets be?

Edit: Ok now I see it’s a condor.
