New Condor valve shot strings–>

Condor .22
Hammer=127g
Stock spring
Top Hat–0.093″ (from factory)
8lbs. Top Hat spring pressure (same as old valve!)
PW=10
Chrony Master Beta
3050 PSI Initial fill
Eun Jin 28gr–30 shots
Kodiak 21gr–20 shots
And here we go–>

1-1167………………..11-1155…………………21-1121
2-1096………………..12-1179-(86.4 FPE)…22-1103
3-1131………………..13-1160…………………23-1089
4-1113………………..14-1173…………………24-1086
5-1127………………..15-1156…………………25-1074
6-1130………………..16-1153
7-1153………………..17-1145
8-1167………………..18-1147
9-1153………………..19-1130
10-1160………………20-1134

PW set to 0– (no effect)
26-1065
27-1049
28-1048
29-1037
30-1030——1900 PSI

Kodiak 21gr–1900 PSI
PW=5 (probably no effect)
1-1167………………11-1086
2-1157………………12-1080
3-1150………………13-1054
4-1138………………14-1050
5-1136………………15-1048
6-1127………………16-1046
7-1120………………17-1040
8-1128………………18-1029
9-1117………………19-1007
10-1104…………….20-997

End pressure=1300 PSI
Accuracy really sucks–too much muzzle velocity I suspect.

I’m guessing too much hammer is most of this.
I would put in my stock (85g) hammer and repeat
but I don’t see it even firing @3000 PSI with the SAME spring pressure as
the old valve! Will the stock hammer limit me to fills of <<3000 PSI?
I guess I’ll be taking that virgin valve apart-huh?–DAM. 😡

p.s.—The new valve IS quieter! New O-Ring mod. really works.

I’m dangerously low on ammo.! I’ll update this post with a string of
Eun Jins (28.4g) as soon as my order comes in.

If someone wants to plot this data—get ‘er done.

What Tony said. I like to keep Kodiaks at 950fps and the accuracy is there. I can shoot them at 1270 fps but don’t.

No condor here this is what I use….

Hey Martin.
1050 FPS max for Kodiaks and Eun Jins.
Groups really start to tighten up in 950 range.
Good Luck

I know this is burried in the archives but since I’ve got your attention–
What seems to be the optimum/most accurate velocities for the Eun Jin and Kodiak?

Martin,
That is a heavy hammer and though your velocities look good at that speed accurracy goes in the dumper…

Go back to your stock hammer and remember these rifles shoot better at 2800-2900 psi.
