new butpad from buba
well lads after seeing buba,s great work i ask him to make meone off my design so the two off us got our heads together and came up with this .a lovely design off two rings with a cheek rod in between to witch i want to put a nice bit off wood on. now it,s my turn to make the but pad for it i,ve started with a nice peice off cocobolo thats been routed to give me some adjustableility up and down .here,s a few pics, 😀

Think you could make it thinner ,from the side it looks thicker than you need . Will you use all the hieght of the stock too , as i always thought that the stock needed to be lower for better position. But then ive never held one so dont listen to me 😀 . Maybe wait until you get the (very nice 😀 ) grip bolted on to get a feel for it .How dose it balance ?
ye adam thats to hold up the grip the now till i get a new bolt the yellow,s sent me (thanks once again yellow mate )

rigght lads a few better pics and i,ve done a good bit off work on the but pad but i,m unsure if it,s still too big
How is it tightened around tank? Or is it?

mike mate the pics don,t show it well but the back ring is screwed into the main but hole and the second ring is slit so it clamps around the bottle .once i get the but pad done i,ll do some better pics for use 😀

buba mate it can go both ways i,ve not yet desided need to get grip bolt first and then i,ll get it out on trial ..

never know till i try shadoh but one thing i,ll try it with out wood first then if i think i still need a wee bit i will .. 😀

buba mate i,ve thined it down a wee bit and sanded it down to as much as i want now it,s had it,s first bit off treatment i,ll give it a day and do it,s second but it looks much nicer when it,s been treated mate i had to wax the other two bit,s off the grip to get them the same lol 😀
