Q:

New Bushnell Legend Came and it is great.

This scope is bright and clear, much more so then the Leapers I had on the gun. Of course it is much more expensive but all of a sudden I wish I had bought one before

Last question… Is the tube 1″ or 30mm?

Yes, 1″ tube for the Legend 5-15.

Got one. Nice scope I agree. Only thing I would change is cross hairs could be a tad thinner.
What mount are you using?

The mount is a Accushot 1pc High mount. It comes with all the allen wrenches and even extra bolts and stop pin. Helluva deal for around $18.

The Legend looks nice on your rig Adam 😀 . I have the same scope and Bushnell should make a sun shade for it. The front bell is not threaded for one and if shooting in bright sun light coming from the side, the lens will sometimes flare up.

You can bet if the one I looked at was mil-dot, I would be shooting it right now.

Everything about it was nicer than the Leaper. All the adjustments turned easily and very smooth.

When I adjusted the eyepiece I was very suprised how quickly it turned in and out. I always have to turn the eypeice out quite a ways, and with this one it took about 3 seconds.

The objective bell turned really easy too, and I was really liking the clear images I was getting.

I will be joining the Bushnell crowd very soon.

Oh BTW, this is the first good look Ive taken of you grip setup. Very trick! I can see why you dont suffer from frame flex as much as most.

This on is the 5-15 and mildot.

Very happy with it.

I was looking at one just like it yesterday, and really wanted to buy it. The optics are a lot clearer than the Leapers, but it wasnt a mil-dot version so I had to pass.

Thats what happens when you just cut code from other forums…

I fixed his thread to a php freindly format.

Im not Theo, I cant see the pictures in my mind just by looking at the code. Please fix this for us humans.

Which Legend is that Adam, the 4-12 or 5-15? I’m eyeing the 5-12 to replace a Leapers as well. About $170 at optics planet for the 5-15…

I’m used to my sidewheel now, but for the most part I can estimate the range well enough to holdover with mil-dots for 90% of my shooting. I figure ranging with the AO on the front bell must be tough. Sure you correct for parallax, but reading the range?
