Thanks for your support! The grip is made of aspen and alder. They are nice and soft to work with. The flipside of the coin is that they might not be durable enough. I just wanted to make a precise model for my hand and that really sits like a glove! I think the full stock really is the next thing to do… I think I’ll use Finnish birch for that. Hard wood but really solid and durable. And cheap, too. One of the good things in living in Finland, prize of timber:)

What did you make it out of? I like the dual-tone look.

When you get comfortable with it, try and build a full stock. Looks like you have the skill for it.

Your’e just showing off with that stack of hard to find JSB’s though. 😉 😛

Below are some pics of my first self made grip. Made it just to find out if I can do it 🙂 Now it’s time to pay some time and attention to the design and materials!
