My Shadow that im working on(monster)
Shadow with 24″ .25 barrel, this pic has barrel removed was getting machined to fit modorator (i know i cant spell).
Thos pic also shows my new fad defence pistol grip/ bipod. Very well made and adjustable leg length, also tilts and pans really good and pulls into shoulder perfectly. Scope is hawke ir 6-24×50, good scope.

Now this is F**king awsome sight i think so fitting, well from the top N550 diginight sight(second hand not a scratch on it with extra ir laser all for £600 🙂 ), SAK moderator( i think thats how its spelt lol i will get it one day) with barrel fitted and also bipod and ive just ordered this reg from lord altos. Just waiting for my big valve to be fixed and will get it all on and tested i will do a shit load of string and post on here im hoping this reg will be great.

I cut the length the same as the top one just as reference, so i didnt have to do many other mods like moving cocking handle. I only had a limited tool list to do this. I am thinking of adding bracing to the side and top to strengthen it, im sure there is a post by Dough i think who has made this from scratch with this feature, ill see if i can add the link later.
But can you help me with why the poi is moving is my scope broken?
Interesting cut to make the Shadow a side-cocker.
Just an observation, but, why cut the slot as long as you did? Could you not have moved the hole for the cocking knob forward on the bolt? Then you could have cut your slot and not cut it all the way through making for a stronger frame. Just an observation, first time I have seen this thread mind you. That is what I have planned for the AirForce style extrusion, a side-cocker for a bigger handle as the mainspring will be quite strong.

Kind of is done just wont shoot straight not to sure why either that’s why I’ve not used it much trough the winter and not been on here much either. I did have one previous to this but sold it, it had a BSA barrel in it and was it accurate 2″ groups at 300m lol. So im thinking of swapping the stock barrel out. I did notice when i had the older one that the pellets were a LOT tighter in the barrel where as this one they are quite lose to fit, only ones fit the tightest are the Air Arms Diablo fields which just happen to be the most expensive lol.
Any way if anyone has a .25 24″ or so BSA barrel i will buy it off you contact me!!

That it does thou i have had and stall having problems. Some days dead on then others shotgun style everywhere and no where lol. ATM the pellet seems to curle out to the left then come back in to the right, so zeroing is not easy and when shooting at different ranges nearly impossiable due to this problem, no idea how or why tryed to look around and find out whats going on, if and body can help would be good, im thinking its clipping moderator or crown is damaged (doesnt look like it i cant see any damage) i have shot it with out it on and its not as bad but still there:(.
I would say it shoots as good as it looks.
bump it up bump bump bump it up 🙂 long time n speak sorry i was got for a while got a bit pissed off with stuff breaking and not having any money to fix. the weather is good here so the next few days/weeks i hopefully will be doing some chrono work and pellet tests.

It does very well I do recommend it, but if u have access to proper kit like bench drill and lathe I would do that but as a DIY it’s easy. Enjoy xx.

Well today I converted my shadow to a side cocker, using an electric drill 8mm bit, and a dremel 🙂 enjoy.
Here is me measuring the distance to the middle so I can drill pilot hole, (im not an engineer) lol

Lol yes and no sent back chrono with busted capacitor got back did a few strings and same problems, but what I got was promising did 20 shots all about 870-877 buying f1 chrono just waiting for delivery. Chrono I got is one which u attach to end of barrel and is a pain to use.
