Q:

My New AAA.25 Condor

Finally got to shoot my new toy, a .25 Condor made by Tony.
First, I decided to go with a OP valve from Tim; I wanted to have dead solid valve with no need to adjust anything, and I think Tony and I got it where it needs to be. I wonder if anyone else went the same route. The bipod Tony put on that thing is look like it’s been there from day one – dead solid, sturdy, and is a true improvement to the rig. The shroud is impressively effective. I think I have done every possible mod Tony have on his site. I decided to put a Bushy 4200 6-24×40 MD on it. Didn’t do any accuracy tests, but perhaps on a calm day I’ll sight it in at 45 yards or so.
I had two bottles for Tony to modify: custom OP valves had to be custom fitted. The first bottle is for 31 gr. Kodiak and the second one for 42 gr. EJ, which I put to test. So, the bottle for EJ spits 42 gr. EJ @ 975 fps, and Kodiak @ 1030 fps. I was able to get 22 full power shots with the pressure started @ 2900 psi.
Overall I am impressed with Tony’s work. Definitely worth every penny.
More will follow…

When I ordered mine he said he was 6 to 8 weeks behind. That was about a month ago. I’m ready! Well, no I still need to figure out how I am going to supply air. I am thinking I will get a pump but I am not sure which one is best. Hill Pump?

How long does it normally take Tony to get a .25’er out. I would like to try one!

Mike

JPEG……. I can only imagine the anticipation you must be feeling. I got one of Tony’s .25’s last year. Trust me . You’re gonna LOVE IT. Try not to shoot at absolutely everything in sight. 😆 😆

quote JPEG:

I have never seen an Air Force gun in person yet.

Don’t get jizz all over it when u open the box!

I use FX pump. Bought it 2 years ago. So far so good.
Scope is important so don’t be too stingy 🙂

Tony is putting a 25 Condor together for me also.
I have never seen an Air Force gun in person yet. I am waiting patiently.
What pump do you use? I need to get one, and a scope. You know, all the goodies!

Bruce I actually live in Richmond which is about 15 miles south-west of Houston. I usually go to the American Shooting Centers off Westheimer Parkway, the only problem is that it’s an open land so you really have to pick a calm day to shoot an air rifle, preferrably in the mornings. Wouldn’t be able to shoot for another month or so 🙁 Oh well, I got some ducks goofing around in the pond outside of my house, so never mind the shooting range for now.

Talk to Tony about swivel thing. My bipod is so dead on on it I don’t even know how did Tony do it…

Vlady, Where in Houston are you? If possible I would to check your new Condor out in person. Where do you shoot?

I want a bipod that will allow swivel. What do you think?

Bruce

Adam, yes it’s a 49.5″ long gun…kinda like it though – The Ultimate Ambush Hunter 🙂

Nice work, Saugus. Someday I will need a vented receiver extention (not a shroud type) where the barrel is exposed.

Vlady, I can make a nice frame extension for you if you want, black anodized alumi tubing with cap any length, as long as my buddy is willing to machine more caps… here it is my gun.

That gun looks great. The only problem I see is it is not long enough 😛

Thank you all,

the bipod is Harris short profile 6-9″, and yes it is extendable up to 9″. As the matter of fact, I still have another one available, brand new. It is, in fact, a silent set up, especially with subsonic EunJins. OP valve is a one piece valve stem that Tim from CustomBrakz makes: it was just my preference to have a non-adjustable top-hat, rather than a standard one with grab screws in it.
One more thing I’d like to get is a receiver extention, so if I do decide to shoot it without the shroud, it will look nice.

Vlady she’s looks nice 😀

Tell us about the Bi-Pod.

What brand is it, and does it extend? Is it tall enough?

What is this OP valve?

Random words popped in my mind when seeing this gun.

Wicked- Darth Vader- Sinister- Power- Black Hell- Death

Congrats on a bad ass gun!
