My New AAA.25 Condor
Finally got to shoot my new toy, a .25 Condor made by Tony.
First, I decided to go with a OP valve from Tim; I wanted to have dead solid valve with no need to adjust anything, and I think Tony and I got it where it needs to be. I wonder if anyone else went the same route. The bipod Tony put on that thing is look like it’s been there from day one – dead solid, sturdy, and is a true improvement to the rig. The shroud is impressively effective. I think I have done every possible mod Tony have on his site. I decided to put a Bushy 4200 6-24×40 MD on it. Didn’t do any accuracy tests, but perhaps on a calm day I’ll sight it in at 45 yards or so.
I had two bottles for Tony to modify: custom OP valves had to be custom fitted. The first bottle is for 31 gr. Kodiak and the second one for 42 gr. EJ, which I put to test. So, the bottle for EJ spits 42 gr. EJ @ 975 fps, and Kodiak @ 1030 fps. I was able to get 22 full power shots with the pressure started @ 2900 psi.
Overall I am impressed with Tony’s work. Definitely worth every penny.

49″ overall.
Just put my condy through a chronograph again. 42 gr EJ, PW 5, pressure 190 bars:
1. 944 11. 938
2. 980 12. 936
3. 958 13. 937
4. 960 14. 955
5. 949 15. 958
6. 953 16. 918
7. 954 17. 931
8. 950 18. 920
9. 960 19. 909
10.945 20. 917
That’s 20 shots from 190 bars down to 140.
And 31 gr. Kodiak:
1020 1026
1013 1027
1015 1023
1032 1024
1030 1919
1031 1927
1033 1919
1029 1014
1037 1011
1034 1011
1033 1005
That’s 22 shots from 190 bars down to 140 with extreme spread of only 32 fps.
I have an artificial lake close by that is 162 yards wide. No wind. Went on the opposite side, placed a can of coke, came back, and blew it away with Kodiak. Gotta love custom Condors…
