My 850 HPA setup
Well it looks like the guns shooting right at 740fps and with the Beeman FTS is was 745fps. I had to remove the gauge and the fill nipple to get the holes lined up for Modding the stock and I had some small problems with leaks after that but it was due to me not doing it right. The regulator is set for 1200psi and the fill press. is 3000psi so after getting things back together it looks like the LDC is to long. The LDC is touching alittle so I’ll need to sort that out. After 72 shots the fill press. was just above 2000psi and thats not bad for a 22ci tank. Also keep in mind that this gun has the spring Mod. with no spacer. I will put together a shot string later to see when refill is needed. This a fun gun to work on and shoot and I truly enjoyed it.

Gauge setup
I need to fix this.
I was able to shoot some Chrony # with the HPA setup and groups shots as well with Beeman Trophy pellets at 14.0gr. It seems that the 1/2″ flires are not due to the Reg. on the tank with the off shots at almost the same FPS as the good ones. Also keep in mind that the barrel is 5″ from the chrony due to the LDC and I stopped at 96 shots with 1900psi in the tank. This test was done in strings of 32 shots and after loading 4 mags. the first shot was high? check out #33,65,90 are all much higher? and on shot #89 the tank press. was at 1900psi but the gun was still hitting right at the POA. Not bad for a 17+fpe. I think the tank can be shot down to 1500psi before refill and that’s around 128 or more shots from the 22ci tank.

What kind of accuracy are you getting from that?
What did it end up weighing? I’m guessing the weight up front has helped off hand shooting?
Going to look at this more later…off to Foster Care training woot!
Jim.
The total weight is 9.20lbs and I have weight in the rear stock to help the balance, but it shoots great out to 30 yards. It’s not bad for a 17+fpe gun. The groups you see are on C02 and the HPA setup is about the same with more power.
This was done with CP’s at 30 yards on C02 at 68 degrees.
I dropped this poor soul right after doing the work to the gun.
