Q:

Mono-Rail Ammo Dispenser

I have a couple of Air Force related products I’ve been developing that I’m pleased to be able to introduce here on TAG (Thanks Tony)

One of said products will have to remain a mystery for a while longer. More on that later this month.

The current item is what I’m calling the Mono Rail Ammo Dispenser.

This rotary ammo dispenser is a updated version of a dispenser that was made by the old Sussex Armory in the UK.
The original dispensers were made of plastic with a adhesive backing so you could stick to you guns stock.
Another place called Dispellet also made them for a while. That version was made of aluminum with a wrist strap.

What I have done is tried various ways to attach the dispenser inverted directly to the Air tank so it would be out of the way, but still allow easy access to pellets or slugs.

So far the Mono Rail and strap on version are the most versatile.

I think Air Force Guns being a single shot have been needing something like this for a while especially for hunting where a close by bullet for a follow up shot would come in handy sometimes.

Currently I have a few made up to fit the .45 Texan and a .22/.25 is in the works.
The .45 cal holds 6 bullets the .22/.25 18 pellets.

Let me Know if this is something you Guys would be interested in.

Thanks,
Dave

Nicely done Dave!

Rick, Here is a pic of the “Texan” size dispenser setup on a standard gun. I have another rial mounted version that’s more adjustable for position. I’ll try and post some pics in a few days.

hay Dave,
Maybe you have thought of this already, but how about a stubby adjustable monopod on the tank? Would make prone shooting enjoyable without having to set the gun completely down while reloading.

Curious to see it in action, maybe a short video?

I do have a intro video with the dispensers, but it also has some other things I’m not quite ready to bring out yet. Hopefully later this month.

Nicely executed!
My only question is how big the hole is for the .22/.25 pellet?

The hole for the .22/.25 is deep enough for predator polymags. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I think that’s the longest .25 sold?

These pics are of a .22/.25 I made for a different mounting system. I may make a Mono-Rail adapter that would allow you to switch for different cal dispensers.

Would be interested in one!
