any suggestions of aimpoint vs. eotech?

Try the Barska Electro Scope AC10808, 4x, 21mm Obj., 1″ Tube Dia. Weight :11 oz
– saw some old pics of a Talon SS with one of these, and it fit the gun very well.

If you’re look ing at EOTech, you might consider this little Leupold Prismatic 1×14: Weight 0.75 lb

I just recenlty checked one out at a gunshow and it’s very sweet. Expensive, but sweet…

actually, i was thinking of an eotech. i saw some of them that weigh around 8 oz. anyone else like those?

How much weight do you save by giving up variable mag.? Say, a 4x16x50 Vs. a 4×50?

A 6 powered mag might be better, something like the leapers bug buster. I like shooting/plinking on 8X, don’t know why just seems like that is where i ended up. Alot of guys have problems with the leapers mostly keeping zero when you set the rig down and pick it back up a day or two later. Mine does it, i just take a few shots inside a re-zero. Mostly just a click or two left or right. If your going to go the fixed mag route, maybe you can afford a nicer scope. Decide on what your willing to spend then others can give more specific, info. The Bugbuster is around $55-$60, i don’t think $100 is too much to spend. At fixed mag a $100 will get you something nicer then a leapers BB. Get one which has AO so it will focus down to 10yds or so. The leapers will go down as much as 3yds, in which a stone might be a better option 😆 Pyramyd has good prices, plus some used ones available at the 4X and 6X fixed mags. Cheaper then dirt has some good deals from time to time. Heres one for you. regardless of the scope you buy, leapers does make reliable, cheap mounts for any scope.
