Q:

Leaking CO2 bottle-adaptor interface.

Hello,

New forum member with a recently purchased Talon. I got the CO2 version for shooting indoors with the intention of getting a regular bottle when spring hits.
I got everything hooked up and fired a few shots with no problems. I then attempted to shoot another group and for some reason got no pressure to fire with. I disconnected the bottle and adaptor from each other and now when I try to reassemble it starts leaking? It leaks out the hole where the threads are that attach to the co2 bottle. What am I doing wrong that causes this?

Thx for any ideas / help

When I got my SS it was in co2, Loved shooting it I called it my crack pipe. I know it sucks to have problems with the gun. Do your self a favor and pick up another co2 tank when you get a chance. That way you will always have a back up.

Some of the tanks also come with 5 free o rings so check the package.

Usually a paintball store will have them. Or even walmart and other places that sell paintball stuff will have orings for CO2 tanks.

You are correct about 1/5 of the ring on the co2 bottle is gone :(. Where are replacements easily obtained from?

Sounds like an oring got fouled. Take a look at the oring and see if it is sliced or nicked.
