Q:

just signed up, but have a condor tank question

HI guys, i’m new and just want to tell a little about me, i’m 28, and have been into air guns since i can remember. i have an r1 .177, kodiak .22, bsa hornet .22, condor .22 & .177. this is a great site and very informative.

i have my condor, the new valve type, but i also use a hpa paintball tank with a regulator i shimed to 1200 psi. it is 48 cubic inch, and i use the co2 adaptor, i get around 900fps with most average weight .22 pellets. the tank though is wide and hard to get a good view on the scope, i was wondering if there is a smaller tank size, closer to the original, that i could screw my regulator onto. thank for any ideas.

I would love to see how you mated this setup to our Condors if you don’t mind and have the time. I have loved the whole idea of a regulator on our tanks and saw some PIc’s here while back of someone that made his own feed tube that was down inside the tank from the bottom of the AF valve assmebly. It was on the TOG one day and then the TOG was gone all together.

Welcome aboard and feel free to post often.

Take a look here. It might be a good place to start.

it is 48 cubic inches, 3.5 inches in diameter and 11 inches long, thank for your help. i love using my condor this way, works great, and 80 dollors for the tank is a great deal, just wish i could get a smaller one

Hi Edward, Welcome aboard!

I’t real well versed in the paintball tanks so hopefully someone else will know if there is something other than the large bodied ones? I only know of the HPA(big ones) and CO2 small ones.

What size HPA tank are you using?

Jim.
