Q:

Just in: my new R5 long

It’s a 25 cal. I’ll bet that you didn’t see that coming!

Sorry for the crappy pic! I don’t have Piter’s skills or equipment!

Brian tried to get Ed to send him some single shot 25 cal. R5’s but, Ed wanted to send all of them to Russia.

Then Kdog started his email and PM campaign to Ed and Brian to have Ed send some 25 cal single shots to the US.

Ed relented [maybe to shut Kdog up] and sent Brian 5 of them. Thanks Kdog!

Wingman gets one, Brian is keeping two and Kdog and I get one each.

I plan to retire in a year or two and I thought that my 25 and 30 cal R3 longs would suit me well in my retirement. I really thought that I was good to go! Then that sneaky Russian comes out with the R5! I watched all of the videos and I was really impressed with the way it was built! But I didn’t want, or need, another 30 cal.

Then Kdog posted that a few 25 cals were coming to the states, I called Brian and ordered his last one! Thanks, Kdog, for making me spend another $1930 on another “BB Gun”!

After buying 7 new Edguns, this will be my last one! Maybe!

Brian did a super job of boxing and sending it!

I really happy with the well built, fit and finish of the gun but; I’m a little butt hurt that that cheap assed Ed didn’t include a soft case with a $1930 gun!

Trying to get Goat’s post back on track. I went back and found the data on my .25 R3M Long, which, although a different model, likely has a similar barrel. Seems the sweet spot for Kings, .25, is around 915-920 fps. you folks with the R5s might dial the speed down to this and report back. At 40 yds., I was getting ctc 5-shot groups under 0.5 inches, outside measure about .5 in. One of four groups was 3/8 in. outside. That’s with a field pod, not a bench, and unsorted pellets.

Ernest is to thank for finding the laser settings :8:

With the R5 more than capable of shooting the .25 33.95 grainers at over 900 fps, I’d think most would want to set the gun up for 61+ FPE.

Why are you people so shy to contact your local ATF agents?

They are at your service, they are helpful.

Speak to them and report back here what they said.

If they say it’s BS then report back here that Pablito and I we are telling BS and misinformation.

It is very easy, ATF allows even anonymous questions.

Those who care and want to know have a wealth of sources of information.

Actually, I don’t take kindly to folks stirring up misinformation. Trolls talking out of the side of their necks. Assclowns from outside of my country, that can care less about me and the laws of this land. You and your aliases don’t have any knowledge or concern other than to stir up as much negativity as possible.

Keep on keeping on. Again, you’re not hurting me but I do hope others recognize the motives and the source. Maybe I should look at it as entertainment.

Dance clown dance. Play and waller in that dung you love so much, just don’t sling that ish my way! Good day to all your personalities.

Tell ‘hem my man :biggrinn:

Bunch of nonsense, verbal diarrea coming out of the “Clowns” of the month 😉

I have powder burners. I have airguns. I have a Firearms Trust set up that owns registered ATF stamp issued silencers. All airguns, to my knowledge, that have removable threaded silencers have 1/2″- 20 threads. Firearms have 1/2″ – 28 threads. If you’re stupid enough to adapt an airgun silencer and install it on a firearm you are breaking the law and in dire risk of incredible fines, penalties and prison time.

I’m personally not the least bit concerned because I don’t do that kind of stupid stuff and the ATF isn’t concerned about me.

Thanks for all the sincere 😉 concern from you there pippo, pablito, arshloecher and all your other aliases ~ boat load of assclowns with one common denominator. :2cents:

Any reason why you got butthurt?

I appreciate that somebody is telling me that my investment on pcps goes south if the gun control bill goes through as it is.

I’m not hurt in any way bud. I just don’t play all that well with assclowns.

So in conclusion it sounds like “Butthurt by Assclowns”.

But don’t worry, you are not alone, this is going to happen to all of us gun owners in the near future.

DAAAAAMNIT, Pablito. You’re gonna make me so paranoid that I’ll beat my wife for even thinking of picking up spuds to make french fries from the supermarket… :fishing:

That Stinks!! Where is it that this might happen Pablito?

Do you, or does anybody else actually pay attention to this guy ?

C’mon now he’s a clown on his best day.

Yea after I wrote it, I read on farther to see he was talking about my country and he had it all wrong, what ever he was getting at! No worries!

Well wanted to find out myself and did some search on Google and got confused.

So I had a chat with one of the main online retailers of airguns (Pyramid) and got some stunning information.

What they said was “Many airguns come with built-in silencers these days, the question becomes, “Can they be removed and installed on a firearm?” If they can and if they reduce the sound of that firearm for even one shot, they meet the definition of a silencer and must be registered.”

So it can be a real issue if you own also firearms.

Thanks for the heads up Pablito.

1930 USD? :suprisedn:

For a .25 cal? Steeper than the .30 cal? That is insane :angrymob:

Anyway if the bill goes through as it is currently and the silencers will become illegal then the value of our PCP guns will be next to zero.

Good-bye backyard plinking :sadn:

Strange world. A few months back we were expecting a complete liberalisation of silencers and now this ….

The good times are over.

That Stinks!! Where is it that this might happen Pablito?

Nothing he’s done makes him a bad guy. The more money he makes…more kudos to him. :8:

As far as accuracy, I don’t own Edgun so I cannot comment on that aspect.

My man, I stand shoulder to shoulder with you on this post :biggrinn: :biggrinn: :biggrinn:
