Q:

If you were forced to only use one kind of pellet…

In .22, what would it be? I certainly haven’t tried every pellet there is, but I don’t feel I have to. I’d pick the 21gr Beeman Kodiak, hands down. Maybe the most accurate pellet I’ve used, so it’s great for target shooting. Couple that with great power downrange, and it’s a winner. Great for short range, long range, target shooting, or hunting, I think it covers many tasks well, although I have yet to try the 18 gr JSB in my SS. In my s410, the JSB and Kodiaks seem about equally matched in accuracy. Wondering what others would pick if you had to choose just one.

Kodiaks. Moded TSS producing 39 FPE. Everything dialed in and zeroed around them with 99.99% predictable results.

Cannot beat them. Condor shoots them well and so does the talon SS

Definitely the H&N barracuda match. 🙂

like Lang said – there is no need to be shooting more than one type of pellet

My 410 only shoot’s JSB’s. Simply because they are what I can get my hands on and they also offer good accuracy and other characteristics that are desirable to me one of which with the 410 is weight.

Some other pellet might be the best in the world – but if I can only get 2 tins per year then there is no point.

quote Langnasen:

I already use only one pellet, the 21gr Bisley Magnum (think it’s a Kodiak in the US). Top pellet. 😀

For all guns, including low power? JSB Exact.

For 30+ FPE PCPs. Kodiak.
