I’m like a dang kid at Christmas…..bsa hornet arrived
What am I talking about I am a 40 year old kid…. Gee 5 days has been a long wait…..Hornet arrived today….I must say this is only my second pcp but I am really impressed at the overall appearance of the gun…Other than 2 blemishes….Even though the gun was discounted 200.00 I was told that it was new and discontinued…. Slight rub thru in the blueing on the barrel and a light nick on the forearm….. Well I’ve got three days to decide whether to keep it or not…… O.k daylight savings sucks first of all…Got to dark to chrony….but at 30 yds i got several 3/8 in groups and kodiaks, eun jin and benjamin diablos one hole…..It is super silent with the factory moderator…from 3000 psi fill 20 shots yielded a pupming start point of 1900 psi…The onboard reg in these guns seems to be pretty good…Will find out more tommorrow….

Rob what kind of velocity are you getting….I just got of the chrony…Man the shot spread is nothing 2-4 fps deviation….Cps are 910,,,kodiak 800 and eun jin 700….I was told the gun is adjustable but i can’t get the darn cap off the back…Polished the trigger and adjusted last night…Sweeeeeet….10 oz and crisp….

Gotta love the Hornet…. I had a little work done to mine…
Exacts work best in mine… although I’ve not tried Kodiaks yet. I turned the power down to around 24fpe, but added the longer barrel as this started out life as a Hornet Carbine.

I’ve got mine turned down…. I have the Hornet carbine, which dont get as many shots, but since adding the longer barrel and turning the power down, I’m getting a good 35 shots out of it at arund 840fps with CPL’s.
I forget what it was getting before I tinkered with it.
That cap has some sort of glue on it. I pried mine off and drilled a hole in the middle of it for easy access with an allen head. Makes it easy to change the power level without removing the action from the stock.
